Hardened Hearts- An Experience.

I always made my way to what I call The Mission Field, I went in high spirits that tuesday morning, with my one of my partners, (like Paul and Silas). We were catching up and communicated very well on every matter concerning our Father.
After we prayed, we asked for directions and the first two persons who were in a discussion before lectures were our first audience. After being permitted to speak, we did and asked some questions. When we were done...one of them looked willing, the other one looked like it was time to hit a question hard, He asked if the Holy Spirit was in the lives of those persons who were killed in the recent raids and attacks in the country. Gladly enough, The Holy Spirit gave the right answer through I and my partner and the young man was silent. We prayed andthanked them and went to the next set of willing ears, but before we did, I and my friend discussed about Paul, the apostle and the categories of people under his former character, Saul. we said that people like Saul, may either perish with their reprobate minds or surrender to Christ in such a way that nothing will mean more than the gift of salvation to them.
The next person I met was exactly like Saul, he allowed me to speak, and even harder than the first guy, He was ready ask a question like a child ready to 'devour' his favourite meal.
He said so much about Jesus trying to take the place of God and it is wrong, and that he doesn't read the new testament, only the old testament. Each time I tried to speak out, He would shut me up. At this point the atmosphere was tensed and I quickly excused myself before I go against the rules of not argument in evangelism (He wouldn't have given me the chance by the way). I  called my partner who saw everything we decided to leave, By now, His friends who were with him were arguing about his views. As soon as we were about to leave, The Holy Spirit reminded us of how He had placed the story of Saul in our hearts and we shouted. We had met Saul Personified and we had work to do.
On this note, I went back to where he stood arguing with his friends and with a smile on my face, I told him that we shall meet again and he said he will be expecting me.
I walked back to our class with one revelation of praying for hardened hearts.
Now I and my evangelical partners had an assignment ;-To pray against the spirit of stubbornness, or hardened and covered minds.
The question is;- Will you join us in our prayer for them?
On this note, Remember that we can do it together.
God bless you.
