Hello Child Of God, Recently, I came across a passage in the bible, ISAIAH 53; which highlighted the coming of our Lord Jesus and His suffering, Isaiah prophesied that although the servant will succeed in His task but that it was the Father's will that He would be rejected and despised. He was so disfigured that he hardly looked human.(wow!) Men and women reported that it was impossible for him to be the Saviour, They never imagined the hand of God in it. Futhermore, Jesus was badly treated that there was nothing attractive about Him, Nothing that will draw us to Him. Carefully look at the above statement: There was nothing attractive about Him . The current and permanent report is that there is everything to be attracted to as you read this message. -He is seated in a place of honour,a place among the great and powerful.- Isaiah 53:12 -He has a name above every other name - Philippians 2:9. Hello Child Of God, I have heard people say that I take Jesus like He is  only for me and that I take it so personal . Most times I am quick to say that it is because He took His mission to die for me very personal , and of course when you accept Him as personal Lord and Saviour, it is a relationship, not a mechanical affair. Let's take a close look at David, The Bible describes him as the man after God's heart, the beloved. When he prayed and addressed God, He never addressed Him like someone far off, but as the Father and Lord. Our issue in spreading the gospel can be linked to the fact that it is not ' personal ' to us..To some of us, Christ is what we met or just a man who did well for you and all you can do is 'serve' Him. A man you love is a man you can't stop gushing about, a man you can't stop thinking about, You just keep talking about Him( and of course praying that people will be blessed and liberated). I would love to share alot on this introduction, but i will make it brief.     Over the past few years of knowing our Father and His incomparable love, I have learnt that we cannot keep this good news to ourselves alone.There is a popular saying which is - Evangelism is the heartbeat of God . Thus, we must do the Father's will with all diligence. I will add that in carrying out this dominion mandate, we must do what has to be done, not what we feel must be done. Live beyond your feelings, and this assignment will be more easier by the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Book reminds us in the book of Proverbs 11:30 ....
